The Campfire

ParadiseByTheSeaRVResort-weOn any given evening, take a walk around Paradise by the Sea RV Resort in San Diego County, CA., and you’ll see dozens of campfires lit, big or small, with large groups gathered around in beach chairs.

“At the end of the night, when everything else is done and you’re sitting around the campfire, this is where everything is built around the family as stories get told and families share things from what happened during the day.”

“It’s always based around toasting marshmallows and cooking hot chocolate and people laughing about what’s happened. During the day it’s enjoying all the fun. But at night it’s around the campfire for family time and reflection. That’s why camping has been such a success; it’s what really creates the family values.” (excerpt from the May issue of Woodall’s Campground Publication).
